    Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken with Crisp Veggies & Garlic Soy Glaze

    Bold, Savory, and Perfectly Spiced
    This Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken is the ultimate Asian-style stir-fry packed with crisp vegetables, garlic soy glaze, and the deep aroma of freshly cracked black pepper. Juicy chicken slices are seared to perfection, then tossed in a sweet and savory sauce that clings to every bite. It’s quick, flavorful, and a guaranteed favorite for your weeknight chicken dinner!

    Ingredients:

    Chicken & Vegetables
    1 lb (450g) boneless chicken thighs or breasts, thinly sliced
    1 tbsp cornstarch
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 red bell pepper, sliced
    1 green bell pepper, sliced
    1 small red onion, sliced
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)
    2 green onions, chopped
    Garlic Soy Glaze
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tbsp oyster sauce
    1 tbsp rice vinegar
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    2 tbsp water
    1 tsp sesame oil

    Directions:

    Coat the Chicken:
    Toss chicken slices in cornstarch until evenly coated for that crispy texture.
    Sear the Chicken:
    Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
    Sauté the Veggies:
    In the same pan, sauté garlic, bell peppers, and onion for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and slightly tender.
    Prepare the Sauce:
    In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, water, and sesame oil.
    Combine Everything:
    Return chicken to the pan, pour in the garlic soy glaze, and sprinkle with freshly cracked black pepper. Stir-fry until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
    Serve & Enjoy:
    Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with jasmine rice or noodles.
