Ingredients:

1 store-bought or homemade pizza dough

⅓ cup fresh basil pesto

2–3 ripe tomatoes, sliced

1 ball burrata cheese (about 4 oz)

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Handful of fresh basil leaves

Olive oil, for brushing

Pinch of salt & freshly ground black pepper

 

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.

2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a hot pizza stone or baking sheet.

3. Spread pesto evenly over the crust. Arrange tomato slices on top, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper.

4. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

5. Top it off: Tear the burrata and scatter it over the hot pizza. Let it melt slightly.

6. Garnish with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil. Slice and serve hot!
