Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup salsa

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 soft taco shells (flour tortillas)

Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, jalapeños, green onions

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

3. Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, cooking for 2–3 more minutes until heated through and thickened.

4. Place soft taco shells on the baking sheet.

5. Spoon the beef mixture onto half of each taco, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

6. Fold tacos in half to form “pockets” and secure with toothpicks if needed.

7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until tacos are golden and cheese is bubbly.

8. Remove toothpicks and serve hot.

9. Top with your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, or jalapeños!
