    Juicy White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers

     

    These White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers are a flavorful twist on classic burgers, perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal. Made with juicy ground chicken, fresh spinach, and melted white cheddar, they’re packed with protein and irresistible taste. Easy to prepare, they cook to perfection in a skillet or on the grill. Customize with your favorite toppings and buns for a crowd-pleasing dish. Serve with sweet potato fries or a fresh salad for a well-rounded meal!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground chicken

    1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

    1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese

    1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for added crunch)

    1 clove garlic, minced

    1/4 cup grated onion

    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

    1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

    Optional Toppings

    Extra slices of white cheddar cheese

    Lettuce leaves

    Sliced tomatoes

    Red onion rings

    Your favorite burger sauces (like mayo, Dijon mustard, or aioli)

    Brioche or whole-grain burger buns

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Burger Mixture

    In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated onion, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    Mix gently to avoid overworking the mixture, keeping the burgers juicy and tender.

    2. Shape the Burger Patties

    Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions.

    Shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

    3. Cook the Burgers

    Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

    Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature: 165°F/74°C).

    4. Optional: Add More Cheddar!

    Top each patty with a slice of white cheddar during the last minute of cooking. Cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

    5. Assemble Your Burgers

    Lightly toast the buns for extra flavor.

    Layer each bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion, a cooked patty, and your choice of sauces.

    Add the top bun and serve warm.

    Tips for the Perfect Burger
