    Juicy Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Recipe

    This Slow Cooker Beef Brisket is the ultimate comfort food, packed with bold, savory flavors and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The rich, tangy sauce made with ketchup, honey, mustard, and brown sugar elevates the brisket to perfection. Slow-cooked for 12-14 hours, it’s perfect for shredding or slicing, making it versatile for family dinners or special occasions. You can customize the flavors with a hint of spice or molasses for added depth. Serve it with mashed potatoes, fresh coleslaw, or crusty bread for a hearty, satisfying meal!

    Ingredients:

    1.5 – 2 kg Beef Brisket
    For the sauce:

    4 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

    4 tbsp Runny Honey

    3 tsp Mustard Powder

    4 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar

    3 tbsp Cider Vinegar

    Instructions:

    Prepare the Sauce:
    Whisk together tomato ketchup, honey, mustard powder, dark brown sugar, and cider vinegar until well combined.

    Cook the Brisket:
    Place the beef brisket into the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce over the meat, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Cover and cook on LOW for 12-14 hours until the brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender.

    Shred or Slice the Brisket:
    Once fully cooked, remove the brisket and transfer the cooking liquid into a jug or saucepan. Shred the brisket using two forks, or slice thinly if preferred. Pour some or all the cooking liquid back over the meat, depending on your desired juiciness.

    Optional Step Reduce the Sauce:
    For extra flavor, simmer the reserved cooking liquid in a saucepan over medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened. Pour the reduced sauce over the meat to enhance its flavor.

    Pro Tips to Elevate This Recipe:

    Swap dark brown sugar for molasses to add depth of flavor.

    Add 1 tsp cayenne pepper to the sauce for a spicy kick.

    Mix in 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce toward the end of cooking for a savory boost.
