Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Roasted Broccoli Skillet

Looking for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner idea? This Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Roasted Broccoli Skillet is a sweet, savory, and spicy one-pan meal that comes together fast! Packed with protein, tender-crisp veggies, and a sticky garlic-honey glaze, it’s perfect served over rice or noodles.

    Ingredients:

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

    1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced

    2 cups broccoli florets

    3 tbsp honey

3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sesame oil (optional for nutty depth)

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

    Salt & pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds & chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Roast the Broccoli:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15–20 minutes until golden and tender-crisp.

    2. Prepare Honey Garlic Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil (if using). Set aside.

    3. Sear the Sausage:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage slices for 5–6 minutes until browned and slightly crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.

    4. Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

    5. Simmer the Sauce:
Pour the honey garlic mixture into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

    6. Combine Everything:
Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Add in the roasted broccoli and mix well.

    7. Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
