Hearty Crockpot Lasagna Soup

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Italian sausage
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
½ yellow onion, diced
½ cup heavy whipping cream
10 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
½ cup ricotta cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Step 1: Brown the meat
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, and diced onions until browned. Drain the excess grease, then season with onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Transfer to crockpot
Pour the cooked meat mixture into your slow cooker. Add the marinara sauce and chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
Step 3: Add noodles and cream
About 30–45 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream and broken lasagna noodles. Cook until the pasta is tender.
Step 4: Stir in cheese
In the last 5 minutes, mix in the ricotta cheese and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Let it melt into the soup.
Step 5: Serve hot
