Healthy Ground Turkey and Zucchini Skillet

Ingredients for Healthy Turkey Zucchini Skillet:
1 lb lean ground turkey
2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
1 tbsp olive oil
½ medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup vegetable broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
How to Make Ground Turkey Zucchini Skillet:
Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft. Stir in minced garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Brown Ground Turkey: Add ground turkey and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it apart, until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
Add Zucchini & Spices: Stir in zucchini, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 4–5 minutes until zucchini is just tender.
Simmer with Broth: Pour in vegetable broth, reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Add Parmesan & Serve: Uncover and mix in grated Parmesan until melted. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
