    These Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Creamy Mashed Potatoes make a hearty, flavorful meal that’s perfect for dinner. Tender sirloin bites are seared to perfection, then tossed in a savory garlic butter with herbs like thyme and rosemary. Paired with smooth, buttery mashed potatoes, this dish offers an irresistible mix of textures and flavors. It’s easy to prepare, making it a great choice for a quick yet indulgent meal.     Ingredients:

    For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:

    1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

    2 tbsp vegetable oil

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    3 tbsp unsalted butter

    1 tsp dried thyme

    1 tsp dried rosemary

    Salt and pepper to taste

    For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:

    2 lbs (900 g) potatoes, peeled and cubed

    1/2 cup milk

    4 tbsp unsalted butter

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

    Step 1: Prepare the Creamy Mashed Potatoes

    1. Cook Potatoes: Place peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes until tender.

    2. Mash Potatoes: Drain the potatoes, return to the pot, and add milk and butter. Mash until creamy and smooth, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Step 2: Sear the Garlic Butter Steak Bites

    1. Cook Steak Bites: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in batches to avoid crowding, cooking 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare or until your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside.

    2. Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, then add butter, thyme, and rosemary. Stir until the butter melts and the garlic is golden.

    Step 3: Combine and Serve

    1. Toss Steak Bites: Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the garlic butter. Let cook for an additional minute to heat through, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.

    2. Serve: Spoon the garlic butter steak bites over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes. Drizzle any extra garlic butter from the skillet on top for extra flavor.
