Treat yourself to these succulent broiled lobster tails drenched in rich garlic butter sauce. This quick and elegant seafood dinner recipe is perfect for special occasions or a gourmet weeknight meal. Ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients for Garlic Butter Lobster Tails:

4 lobster tails (6–8 oz each) – fresh or thawed

    1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

    3 garlic cloves, finely minced

    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

    Lemon wedges (for serving)

How to Make Broiled Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter:

    Prep the Lobster Tails

Preheat oven to broil and place oven rack 6 inches from heat.

Use kitchen shears to cut along the top of each lobster shell, stopping at the tail.

Gently lift the meat above the shell, resting it on top (but still attached). Pat dry with paper towels.

    Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

Combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. This buttery mix is the flavor base for your garlic lobster tails.

    Season Lobster Tails

Place lobster tails on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Brush generously with the garlic lemon butter sauce, making sure to coat all the meat.

    Broil to Perfection

Broil for 8–10 minutes, brushing with extra garlic butter halfway through.

Lobster is done when meat turns opaque and lightly golden on top.

    Garnish and Serve

    Drizzle with remaining garlic butter.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges for that zesty finish.

    Perfect Pairings:

Serve these buttery lobster tails with creamy mashed potatoes, oven-roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad for a complete seafood feast.
