    Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket Recipe

     

    Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket Recipe

     

    Get ready for the ultimate comfort food with this Easy Slow Cooked Brisket with Barbecue Sauce! This tender and juicy slow cooker beef brisket is seasoned to perfection and smothered in a rich, tangy homemade BBQ sauce. Perfect for family dinners, potlucks, and backyard BBQs!

    Ingredients:

    1 (4-5 lb) beef brisket
    1 tbsp smoked paprika
    1 tbsp garlic powder
    1 tbsp onion powder
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1 cup beef broth
    1 cup barbecue sauce (homemade or your favorite store-bought)
    2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    1 tbsp Dijon mustard

    Instructions:

    1. Make the dry rub: In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, cayenne (if using), and brown sugar.

    2. Season the brisket: Rub the spice mixture evenly over the brisket, covering all sides.

    3. Add to the slow cooker: Place the brisket in your slow cooker and pour in the beef broth.

    4. Mix the BBQ sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Pour it over the brisket.

    5. Cook low and slow: Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours until the brisket is fork-tender and shreds easily.

    6. Rest & serve: Remove the brisket, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice or shred. Serve with extra BBQ sauce and your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread.
