    Easy Fruit Cobbler Recipe

This easy fruit cobbler recipe is the ultimate quick dessert for family dinners, holidays, or potlucks. With a buttery golden crust and a sweet, juicy fruit filling, this Southern-style fruit cobbler is perfect with cherry, peach, blueberry, or apple pie filling. Just 5 simple ingredients and 10 minutes of prep make this the best homemade cobbler recipe you’ll ever try!

    Ingredients:

    1 stick unsalted butter
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup milk
1 can (about 1 lb. 5 oz.) fruit pie filling (cherry pie filling, peach pie filling, blueberry pie filling, or apple pie filling)

    Directions:

Place 1 stick of butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Put the dish in the oven while it preheats to 350°F (175°C) until the butter melts completely.
    Mix the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together self-rising flour, sugar, and milk until smooth. This creates the cobbler crust.
    Assemble the Cobbler
Pour the cobbler batter over the melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon the canned fruit pie filling (cherry, peach, apple, or blueberry) evenly on top.
    Bake to Perfection
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the cobbler topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

    Serve & Enjoy
Cool slightly before serving. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for the ultimate fruit cobbler dessert.

    Recipe Tips & Variations:

For a homemade fruit cobbler, swap canned filling for fresh fruit like peaches, blueberries, or apples.
Add cinnamon, nutmeg, or a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
