Easy 5-Ingredient Chocolate Tahini Truffles Recipe

Description: “Whip up these incredibly delicious and easy chocolate tahini truffles with just 5 wholesome ingredients. Perfect for a quick and satisfying sweet treat!”

    Ingredients:

    TRUFFLES:
    – 1 cup lightly packed Medjool dates*, pitted (measured after pitting)
    – 1/2 cup unsalted and smooth tahini
    – 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (or cacao powder)
    – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    – 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

    OPTIONAL COATING:
    – 3 tablespoons black and/or white sesame seeds

    Instructions:

    1. If your dates are hard/dry, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain well.

    2. In a food processor, blend pitted dates until broken down and formed into a “date ball,” about 1 minute. Add tahini, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Process until well combined, scraping down the sides as needed, about 30 seconds.

    3. Taste and adjust by adding more cocoa powder for chocolate flavor or tahini for richness.

    4. Prepare a small plate or dish for the truffles. If desired, add sesame seeds to a small mixing bowl. Using a 1 – 1 ½ tablespoon scoop, form mixture into balls and drop into sesame seeds. Roll to fully coat, then shake off any excess seeds.

    5. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best texture. Store leftover truffles in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month.

Experience the perfect blend of chocolate and tahini in these delightful truffles, ready to satisfy your sweet cravings anytime!
