    Dry-Rubbed Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

     

    These Dry-Rubbed Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs are the perfect combination of juicy, tender meat and a flavorful seasoned crust. Made with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper, this simple slow cooker recipe requires no liquid, letting the chicken’s natural flavors shine. Ideal for meal prep, chicken sandwiches, or serving with your favorite sides, it’s a versatile and easy dinner option. For extra texture, a tea towel under the lid helps absorb excess moisture. Try it with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!

    Ingredients:

    1kg skinless, boneless chicken thighs

    ½ tbsp smoked paprika

    ¼ tsp salt

    ½ tsp black pepper

    ¼ tsp garlic powder

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the seasoning In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder for your dry rub.

    2. Coat the chicken Place the chicken thighs in a bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over the meat. Toss thoroughly to coat each piece with the flavorful rub.

    3. Slow cook Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in your slow cooker. Set to high heat and cook for 4 hours for juicy and tender results.

    4. Absorb moisture To enhance the dry-rubbed texture, place a tea towel under the lid of the slow cooker for the last hour of cooking to absorb excess moisture.

    5. Serve & enjoy Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and serve hot with your favorite sides.
