Ingredients for Shrimp Alfredo Lasagna

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

2 tbsp unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

Salt & black pepper to taste

1/2 tsp paprika (optional for flavor & color)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

For the Creamy Alfredo Sauce:

4 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 cups whole milk (or 2 cups milk + 1 cup heavy cream)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg for seasoning

For the Lasagna Layers:

9 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente and drained

2 cups ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)

1 large egg

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 tbsp fresh parsley for garnish

 

How to Make Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Lasagna

Step 1: Cook the Garlic Butter Shrimp

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
Drizzle with lemon juice and remove from heat. Roughly chop most of the shrimp, leaving some whole for topping.

Step 2: Make the Homemade Alfredo Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until golden.
Stir in flour to form a roux and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in milk (or milk and cream mixture), stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.

Step 3: Prepare the Ricotta Cheese Mixture
