    Creamy Paprika Chicken Pasta with Bell Peppers

    Indulge in this creamy paprika chicken pasta loaded with tender chicken breast, sweet red bell peppers, and a rich smoked paprika cream sauce. This comforting pasta dinner recipe is ready in just 35 minutes perfect for busy weeknights yet special enough for a family gathering.

    Ingredients for Creamy Paprika Chicken Pasta:

    For the Chicken:

    2 large chicken breasts, diced

    1 tbsp olive oil

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 medium onion, chopped

    2 tsp smoked paprika

    Salt & black pepper, to taste

    For the Sauce:

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 tbsp tomato paste

    1 cup chicken broth

    1–2 red bell peppers, sliced

    1 tsp Italian herbs

    For the Pasta:

    12 oz rotini or fusilli pasta

    Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

     

    How to Make Creamy Paprika Chicken Pasta with Bell Peppers:

    1. Cook the Pasta:
    In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    2. Sauté the Aromatics:
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, cooking until fragrant and soft.

    3. Cook the Chicken:
    Stir in the diced chicken, season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until golden brown on all sides.

    4. Build the Sauce:
    Add sliced bell peppers, tomato paste, chicken broth, and Italian herbs. Stir well and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.

    5. Make it Creamy:
    Reduce heat to low, pour in heavy cream, and stir until the sauce thickens into a silky texture.

    6. Combine & Serve:
    Toss the pasta in the creamy paprika chicken sauce or serve the sauce over the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.
