    These Creamy Garlic Butter Tuscan Mushrooms are a rich, comforting, and flavor-packed side dish inspired by classic Italian Tuscan cuisine. Tender mushrooms are simmered in a luxurious garlic butter cream sauce with Parmesan and herbs, creating a restaurant-quality dish that’s keto-friendly, low-carb, and incredibly satisfying.

    1 lb fresh mushrooms (cremini or button), sliced
    4 tbsp unsalted butter
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    ½ cup heavy cream
    ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    ¼ cup chicken broth
    1 tsp dried oregano
    Salt and black pepper, to taste
    Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish (optional)

    Directions:

    Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice them evenly for uniform cooking.

    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and become golden brown.

    Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds, just until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

    Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release all the flavorful bits. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.

    Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

    Let the sauce gently simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and coats the mushrooms beautifully.

    Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley or thyme if desired. Serve warm as a side dish or over your favorite keto-friendly main.
