    Classic Fideos a la Boloñesa Recipe 

     

    If you’re craving a comforting and hearty pasta dish, this Fideos a la Boloñesa is a must-try! Packed with flavor from savory pickled meat, zesty tomato sauce, and aromatic herbs, it’s the perfect weeknight dinner or family favorite meal. This easy recipe brings together simple ingredients for a delicious and satisfying Latin-inspired pasta dish.

    Ingredients for Fideos a la Boloñesa:

    1 packet of fideos pasta (500g)

    3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

    1 clove garlic, finely chopped

    1 small onion, diced

    200g pickled beef (or meat of choice)

    1 can tomato sauce (340g)

    Salt and black pepper to taste

    Fresh cilantro and parsley for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Boil the fideos pasta in a large pot of salted water over medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and onion and sauté for 5 minutes, until fragrant and soft.

    3. Stir in the pickled meat and cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

    4. Pour in the tomato sauce, season with salt and black pepper, and let it simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes.

    5. Once the sauce is thick and rich, remove from heat.

    6. Serve the fideos on a plate or bowl, spoon the Bolognese sauce generously over the top, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and cilantro.
