Chewy Brownie Cookies with M&M’s Recipe
Indulge in these deliciously chewy brownie cookies, packed with rich chocolate chips and colorful M&M’s.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
– 2 cups granulated sugar
– 3/4 cups cocoa powder (1/2 cup regular, 1/4 cup dark cocoa)
– 3 eggs
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 1/2 cups M&M’s
Instructions:
1. **Preheat oven** to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, **combine melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder**. Mix well.
3. **Add eggs**, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Add **salt, vanilla, baking powder, and baking soda**. Mix well.
5. Gradually **add flour** and mix on low until combined.
6. Stir in **chocolate chips** and 1/2 cup of **M&M’s**. Cover and **chill the dough** for at least 30 minutes.
7. Drop cookie dough by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. **Press a few M&M’s onto the tops** of each cookie.
8. **Bake for 9 minutes**
. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container.
