    Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs Recipe

     

    These Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs are the ultimate comfort food, packed with 13 grams of protein per serving! Juicy ground meat is perfectly seasoned and stuffed with gooey cheddar, making each bite a burst of flavor. Baked to golden perfection, they’re easy to prepare and ideal for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or party appetizers. Add an extra cheesy topping for indulgence, or pair them with pasta or a salad for a complete meal. This recipe is a crowd-pleaser you’ll want to make again and again!

    Ingredients:

    Ground Meat (beef, chicken, or turkey): 400g

    Large Egg: 1

    Breadcrumbs: 1/4 cup (~30g)

    Cheddar Cheese (or your choice): 50g (shredded or cubed for stuffing)

    Garlic (minced): 2 cloves

    Onion (finely chopped): 1 small

    Fresh Parsley (chopped): 1 tbsp

    Salt: 1 tsp

    Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp

    Paprika: 1/2 tsp

    Olive Oil (for greasing the pan): 1 tbsp

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat Oven:
    Set your oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking tray by lightly greasing it with olive oil or lining it with foil.

    2. Mix the Meat Mixture:
    In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly incorporated.

    3. Stuff with Cheese:
    Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture, flatten it slightly in your palm, and place a small piece of cheddar cheese in the center. Roll the meat around the cheese, sealing it completely to form a meatball.

    4. Arrange on Tray:
    Place the meatballs on the prepared baking tray, leaving some space between each for even cooking.

    5. Bake to Perfection:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and fully cooked through.

    6. Optional Cheese Topping:
    For extra cheesiness, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking and allow it to melt.

    7. Serve and Enjoy:
    Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve these protein-packed meatballs hot. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce, pasta, or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
