    Irresistible Butterscotch Lush Cake Recipe

    Irresistible Butterscotch Lush Cake Recipe

    Ingredients

    **Crust:**
    – ½ cup butter, cubed
    – 1 cup all-purpose flour
    – ½ cup pecans, chopped

    **Filling:**
    – 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
    – 1 cup powdered sugar
    – 1 cup whipped topping

    **Pudding Layer:**
    – 3 cups cold milk
    – 2 (3.4 oz) packages butterscotch pudding mix

    **Topping:**
    – 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
    – ¼ cup chopped pecans

    Instructions

    1. **Preheat Oven:** Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13″ baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

    2. **Prepare Crust:**
    – In a bowl, cut together cubed butter and all-purpose flour until crumbs form.
    – Stir in chopped pecans.
    – Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
    – Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

    3. **Make Filling:**
    – Beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
    – Add whipped topping and beat again until well combined.
    – Spread the filling over the cooled crust and set aside.

     

    4. **Prepare Pudding Layer:**
    – In a large bowl, mix butterscotch pudding mix and cold milk.
    – Whisk until combined and soft set.
    – Pour the pudding mixture over the cream cheese filling layer.
    – Refrigerate for 3-4 hours until set.

    5. **Add Topping:**
    – Before serving, spread whipped topping over the pudding layer.
    – Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
