    Easy Weeknight Taco Rice in One Pan

     

    Easy Weeknight Taco Rice in One Pan!

    This recipe is all about convenience and flavor. With minimal prep and just one pan, you can have a delicious and satisfying taco rice dinner on the table in about 30 minutes.

    Ingredients:

    * 1 pound ground beef
    * 1 packet taco seasoning
    * 2 cups water
    * 2 cups Minute Rice (uncooked)
    * 1 cup salsa (your favorite kind!)
    * 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Instructions:

    1. Brown the Beef: Grab a large skillet and heat it over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s nicely browned.

    2. Season it Up: Drain any excess grease from the pan. Now, sprinkle in the taco seasoning and pour in the water. Give it a good stir and bring the mixture to a boil.
    3. **Rice to the Rescue:** Once boiling, reduce the heat to low. Add the uncooked Minute Rice and stir it in to combine with the seasoned ground beef and water.

    4. Steam It Up: Cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid and let the rice cook for about 5 minutes, or until the rice is tender and fluffy.

    5. Cheesy Fiesta: Take the pan off the heat and remove the lid. Stir in the salsa and shredded cheese until everything is well incorporated and the cheese is melted and gooey.

    6. Serve and Enjoy! That’s it! Your one-pan taco rice is ready to be served. Dish it up and enjoy a delicious and easy weeknight meal.

    Tips:

    * Want to add some veggies? Saute chopped onions, bell peppers, or corn with the ground beef before adding the taco seasoning.
    * Don’t have Minute Rice? No problem! Use 1 cup of long-grain white rice, rinsed, and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or according to package instructions.
    * Make it your own! Top your taco rice with your favorite taco fixings like chopped tomatoes, sliced avocado, sour cream, cilantro, or hot sauce.
