    Baked Salmon Meatballs with Creamy Avocado Sauce

     

    These Baked Salmon Meatballs with Creamy Avocado Sauce are a light, protein-packed meal perfect for clean eating and weeknight dinners. Juicy salmon meatballs baked to perfection and served with a tangy avocado-Greek yogurt sauce healthy, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes!

    Ingredients:

    For the Salmon Meatballs:
    1 lb salmon fillet (skin removed and finely chopped)
    ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
    1 egg
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
    1 tsp Dijon mustard
    ½ tsp salt
    ¼ tsp black pepper
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    For the Creamy Avocado Sauce:
    1 ripe avocado
    ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
    1 clove garlic
    1 tbsp lime juice
    1 tbsp olive oil
    Salt and pepper, to taste

    Directions:

    Prepare the Salmon Meatballs:
    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, dill, parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix until just combined.

    Shape the Meatballs:
    Form small meatballs (1–1.5 inches) and place them evenly on the baking sheet.

    Bake:
    Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and cooked through.

    Make the Avocado Sauce:
    In a blender, combine avocado, Greek yogurt, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as desired.

    Serve:
    Serve the warm salmon meatballs with a generous drizzle of creamy avocado sauce. Garnish with extra herbs or lime zest for freshness.
