This Savory Stir-Fried Beef and Bell Peppers recipe is the perfect quick and easy dinner idea! Tender strips of flank steak (or sirloin) are stir-fried with colorful red, green, and yellow bell peppers in a flavorful Asian-inspired sauce made with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Served over fluffy white rice, this dish is a restaurant-style beef stir fry you can make at home in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tsp toasted sesame oil

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp vegetable oil (or canola oil)

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Add the remaining oil to the wok. Toss in the garlic and sliced bell peppers, stir-frying until tender-crisp (about 3–4 minutes).

4. Return the beef to the wok, toss everything together until coated in sauce, and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot over steamed white rice or jasmine rice.
