    Creamy Garlic-Paprika Shrimp Skillet

Looking for a quick and flavorful shrimp dinner that’s ready in under 30 minutes? This Creamy Garlic-Paprika Shrimp Skillet is the perfect one-pan meal! Juicy shrimp are simmered in a rich garlic-paprika cream sauce ideal for busy weeknights, low-effort cooking, and anyone craving comfort food without the hassle.

    Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced (or pre-minced for convenience)

    1 tbsp sweet paprika

    ½ tsp dried oregano

¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)

    ½ cup chicken broth

½ cup heavy cream or coconut cream (for a dairy-free shrimp skillet)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

    Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Cooked rice or crusty bread, for serving

    Instructions:

    1. Sauté the garlic:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant avoid browning it.

    2. Add spices:
Stir in the paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper (if using). Let cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly for bold flavor.

    3. Cook the shrimp:
Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

    4. Make it creamy:
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

    5. Finish and serve:
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over fluffy rice or with crusty bread for soaking up the sauce.
