    Sizzling Steak Fajitas Recipe

Get ready for a flavor-packed meal with these easy Steak Fajitas, made with juicy grilled flank steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and wrapped in warm tortillas! Perfect for weeknight dinners, family meals, or your next Tex-Mex taco night!

Ingredients for the Best Steak Fajitas:

1 lb flank steak (or skirt steak for extra tenderness)

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

    1 medium onion, sliced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 teaspoon chili powder

    1 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and black pepper, to taste

    Tortillas (flour or corn, warmed)

Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, fresh salsa, shredded cheese, lime wedges

    Directions:

    1. Marinate the steak: In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Coat the flank steak evenly and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).

    2. Grill or sear the steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 5–7 minutes per side (medium-rare). Adjust cook time to your preference.

    3. Let it rest: Remove steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes to retain its juices.

    4. Cook the veggies: In the same pan, sauté bell pepper and onion until soft and slightly caramelized, soaking up all the steak flavor.

    5. Assemble: Slice the steak against the grain, then fill tortillas with steak, peppers, and onions. Top with guac, sour cream, salsa, or cheese as desired.

    6. Serve & enjoy: Serve warm and garnish with lime wedges or cilantro for extra freshness!
