Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

2 large onions, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 sprigs fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)

Salt & pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

1. Season the Beef: Sprinkle beef strips with salt and pepper. Set aside.

2. Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and golden.

3. Sauté the Beef: Add garlic and seasoned beef strips. Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring often, until beef is browned and tender.

4. Add Herbs: Stir in thyme and cook for another 1–2 minutes to bring the flavors together.
