    Get ready to indulge in this rich and flavorful Seafood with Creamy Creole Sauce, packed with succulent shrimp, tender scallops, and sweet lump crabmeat. This easy Southern seafood dinner recipe brings the bold, spicy taste of Louisiana to your table in just 40 minutes! Perfect served over fluffy white rice or al dente pasta.

    Ingredients for Creamy Creole Seafood:

    1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    1/2 lb sea scallops

    1/2 lb lump crabmeat

    2 tbsp butter

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 small onion, finely chopped

    1 small green bell pepper, diced

    1 small red bell pepper, diced

    2 celery stalks, finely chopped

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tbsp Creole seasoning (homemade or store-bought)

    1/2 tsp smoked paprika

    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

    2 tbsp all-purpose flour

    1 cup heavy cream

    1/2 cup seafood or chicken broth

    1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

    Salt and black pepper, to taste

    2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

    Cooked rice or pasta, for serving

    Directions:

    1. Prep the seafood:
      Pat shrimp and scallops dry. Lightly season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of Creole seasoning.
    2. Sear the seafood:
      In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp and scallops for 1–2 minutes per side until just cooked. Remove and set aside.
    3. Sauté vegetables:
      In the same skillet, add remaining oil and butter. Sauté onion, red and green bell peppers, celery, and garlic for 5 minutes until soft and fragrant.
    4. Make the creamy Creole sauce:
      Sprinkle in the flour and stir to coat the veggies. Cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in broth and heavy cream until smooth.
    5. Season and simmer:
      Add Worcestershire sauce, Creole seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce (if using). Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 4–5 minutes.
    6. Combine and finish:
      Gently stir in the crabmeat, shrimp, and scallops. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes to heat through. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
    7. Serve:
      Spoon the creamy seafood mixture over rice or pasta. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

    Recipe Notes:

    Protein-packed and comforting, this creamy seafood skillet is ideal for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

    Customize heat level with extra cayenne or a dash of Cajun hot sauce.
