INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 5 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups finely chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step1: Blend softened butter with powdered sugar. Add vanilla.
Step2: Mix in salt, flour and chopped pecans.
Step3: Form dough into 1 inch balls or flattened cookies and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step4: Bake in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. While hot roll in powdered sugar. Let cool and roll again in powdered sugar.
