    Cheesy Garlic Bread with Mozzarella and Garlic Butter

     

    This easy cheesy garlic bread is the perfect combination of golden, crispy edges and gooey mozzarella cheese. With a flavorful garlic butter topping made from minced garlic, oregano, and parsley, it’s irresistibly delicious. Baked to perfection, this homemade garlic bread is great for dipping in marinara sauce or enjoying on its own. Add a sprinkle of chili flakes or diced tomatoes for an extra kick! A must-try recipe for cheese lovers and garlic bread fans alike.

    Ingredients:

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 tsp baking powder

    ½ tsp salt

    ½ cup plain yogurt or milk

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    2 tbsp butter, melted

    3 garlic cloves, minced

    1 tsp dried oregano

    1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

    Optional: diced tomatoes or chili flakes for extra flavor

    Instructions:

    Step 1: Prepare the Dough

    1. In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

    2. Add yogurt and olive oil. Mix until the dough comes together.

    3. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth, cover, and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

    Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter

    1. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, and parsley. Set aside.

    Step 3: Assemble the Bread

    1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape.

    3. Transfer the rolled dough to a greased baking tray.

    4. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the dough.

    5. Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top. For extra flavor, add diced tomatoes or chili flakes.

    Step 4: Bake the Garlic Bread

    1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

    2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

    Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

    1. Slice into rectangles or squares.

    2. Serve warm with marinara sauce or enjoy as is!
