    Slow Cooker Baked Ziti Recipe

This Slow Cooker Baked Ziti is the ultimate comfort food, perfect for busy weeknights or relaxed family dinners. Made with tender pasta, savory ground beef, and a rich tomato sauce, it’s a dish that’s full of hearty flavors. The slow cooker does all the work, making it an easy, hands-off meal. Topped with melted mozzarella and fresh parsley, it’s irresistibly cheesy and satisfying. Pair it with garlic bread or a crisp salad for a complete and delicious dinner!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 onion, finely chopped

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1/2 tsp salt

    1 tsp basil

    1 tsp oregano

    28 oz can diced tomatoes

    1 jar pasta sauce

    2 1/2 cups water

4 cups ziti or penne noodles (uncooked)

    3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

    Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

    Instructions:

    1. Prep the Flavor Base

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the finely chopped onion until fully cooked. Stir in minced garlic, salt, basil, and oregano. Cook for an additional minute to release the aromas.

    2. Layer the Ingredients in the Slow Cooker

Transfer the beef mixture to your slow cooker. Add the diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, and water. Stir to combine.

Set the slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours to let the flavors meld.

    3. Add the Pasta

Turn the slow cooker to high heat and mix in the uncooked ziti or penne noodles. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles reach your desired consistency.

    4. Top with Cheese

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is perfectly melted. For a fresh touch, add chopped parsley before serving.

Tips for the Perfect Slow Cooker Ziti

Use ziti or penne for an authentic pasta bake.

Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for a slight kick.

Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete familydinner.

Enjoy this creamy, cheesy, and comforting baked ziti that’s perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.
