    Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach Recipe

     

    Dive into the indulgence of Creamy Shrimp and Crab Spinach, a seafood lover’s delight! This recipe combines tender shrimp, succulent crab meat, and fresh spinach in a rich Parmesan cream sauce. Bursting with flavor and perfect for a cozy dinner, it’s a gourmet dish you can make at home. Serve it with lemon wedges and parsley for a refreshing finish.     Ingredients:

    1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    1/2 lb lump crab meat

    3 tablespoons unsalted butter

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    1 small onion, finely chopped

    2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped

    1 cup heavy cream

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

    1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Lemon wedges (for serving)

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the Shrimp:

    Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Add the shrimp and sauté until pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side.

    Remove and set aside.

    2. Sauté the Aromatics:

    In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat.

    Add garlic and onion, cooking until fragrant and translucent (about 3-4 minutes).

    3. Wilt the Spinach:

    Stir in the spinach and cook until just wilted, around 2-3 minutes.

    4. Prepare the Cream Sauce:

    Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

    Mix in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (optional), salt, and pepper.

    Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, approximately 3-5 minutes.

    5. Combine with Seafood:

    Return shrimp to the skillet and gently fold in the lump crab meat.

    Simmer for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the seafood is well-coated and heated through.

    6. Serve and Garnish:

    Plate the creamy shrimp and crab spinach.

    Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
