Classic Old Fashioned Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon white sugar
– 3 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1 egg
– 1 1/4 cups milk
– cooking spray
Directions:
1. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of white sugar.
2. Add Wet Ingredients: Whisk in 3 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 egg, and 1 1/4 cups of milk until the mixture is smooth. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.
3. Heat and Cook: Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat with cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
