    Walking Taco Bake Recipe

This Walking Taco Bake is the perfect mix of cheesy goodness and crunchy Fritos! With seasoned ground beef, creamy cheddar sauce, and a bubbly mozzarella topping, it’s an easy casserole that’s bursting with Tex-Mex flavor. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s ideal for busy weeknights or game day. Serve with toppings like sour cream, salsa, or diced tomatoes for a crowd-pleasing meal. A must-try for any nacho or taco lover!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 package taco seasoning

    2/3 cup water

    3 cups Chili Cheese Fritos

    1/2 can cheddar cheese soup

    1/4 cup milk

    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    Instructions:

    Preheat the Oven

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

    Add Taco Seasoning

Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Let it cook as directed, usually around 5 minutes, until it thickens.

    Make the Cheesy Sauce

In a bowl, mix together cheddar cheese soup and milk until smooth and creamy.

    Layer the Walking Taco Bake

    In a greased baking dish:

Spread half of the Chili Cheese Fritos evenly on the bottom.

Add the seasoned beef mixture on top.

Pour the cheese soup mixture over the beef and spread evenly.

    Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over everything.

    Top with Remaining Fritos

Finish by layering the remaining Chili Cheese Fritos on top for extra crunch.

    Bake

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the Fritos are golden and crispy.

    Serve

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Add toppings like sour cream, salsa, and diced tomatoes for extra flavor!
