Ultimate Philly Steak Cheese Fries Recipe

Indulge in the ultimate Philly Steak Cheese Fries, a mouthwatering combination of tender steak, crisp bell peppers, and gooey cheese over crispy waffle fries. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal that satisfies every craving!

    Ingredients:

    – 1 lb steak, thinly sliced
    – 1 tsp garlic salt
    – 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    – 1 green bell pepper, sliced
    – 1 onion, sliced
    – 8-10 slices White American Cheese
    – 20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries
    – 1 tbsp olive oil

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

    2. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.

    3. Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Sprinkle in the garlic salt and pepper, stirring to coat. Fry the steak until browned on all sides.

    4. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside. Reserve 1 tbsp of liquid from the skillet and discard the rest.

    5. Return the skillet to the stove, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender but the green peppers remain crisp.

    6. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set them aside.

    7. In the same skillet, add a layer of McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries. Top with 4 slices of White American Cheese, then layer with the cooked steak and vegetables.

    8. Repeat the layers and top with the remaining cheese slices.

    9. Place the oven-safe skillet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
