    Ultimate German Chocolate Poke Cake Recipe

     

    This German Chocolate Poke Cake is a decadent treat that combines rich chocolate with layers of creamy caramel and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for chocolate lovers.     Ingredients:

    1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

    1 cup chopped pecans

    1 jar (12 oz) caramel sauce

    1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

    1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip or whipped topping

    1 box German chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients on the box)

    1/4 cup chocolate syrup

    1 cup chocolate chips

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat & Prepare the Cake:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Follow the instructions on your German chocolate cake mix, then pour the batter into the dish and bake.

    2. Make the Caramel Mixture:
    In a medium bowl, blend the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce until smooth.

    3. Poke the Cake:
    Let the baked cake cool for 10 minutes. Then, use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes throughout the cake.

    4. Add the Caramel Sauce:
    Pour the caramel mixture over the warm cake, ensuring it seeps into each hole. Let it cool completely.

    5. Add the Whipped Topping & Crunchy Toppings:
    Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with sweetened shredded coconut and chopped pecans for a delightful crunch.

    6. Melt the Chocolate:
    Melt the chocolate chips until smooth and drizzle over the cake.

    7. Finish with Chocolate Syrup:
    Drizzle chocolate syrup for an extra rich touch.

    8. Refrigerate & Serve:
