    Tennessee Onions is a simple yet irresistible baked dish that combines the natural sweetness of Vidalia onions with a rich, cheesy topping. The buttery layers of Italian blend cheese, cheddar, and Parmesan create a golden, bubbly crust that’s perfect for any occasion.     Ingredients:

    3-4 Vidalia sweet onions (or any sweet onion variety)

    4 tablespoons unsalted butter

    1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1/2 teaspoon oregano

    1 cup Italian blend cheese, finely shredded

    1 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded

    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely shredded

    Instructions:

    2. Lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

    3. Peel and clean the Vidalia onions. Slice them into ¼-inch-thick rounds, keeping the rings intact (do not separate).

    4. Spread the onion rounds evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

    5. Sprinkle the onion slices with salt, garlic powder, and oregano.

    6. Cut the butter into small pats and evenly distribute them over the seasoned onions.
