    Tender One-Skillet Honey BBQ Beef & Cabbage Pasta Recipe

    Enjoy a quick, flavorful, and family-friendly one-skillet meal with this Honey BBQ Beef & Cabbage Pasta. Packed with protein, fiber, and savory-sweet flavors, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb (450g) ground beef rich in protein
    1 small head of cabbage, shredded high in fiber and vitamins
    12 oz (340g) pasta (penne or rotini works best)
    1/4 cup honey natural sweetness
    1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
    2 tablespoons olive oil healthy fats
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced supports immune health
    1 teaspoon smoked paprika adds smoky flavor
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned (5–6 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

    Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook 2–3 minutes until the onion softens. Add shredded cabbage and cook 5–7 minutes until wilted.

    In a small bowl, whisk together honey and BBQ sauce. Pour over the beef and cabbage, stirring to coat evenly. Simmer 3–5 minutes to thicken and meld flavors.

    Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until pasta is fully coated with the flavorful beef-cabbage mixture.

    Optional: Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and let it melt. Garnish with fresh parsley for a bright, fresh finish.
