Surf & Turf Noodle Stir-Fry with Steak & Shrimp
Bring the best of land and sea together with this Surf & Turf Noodle Stir-Fry! Juicy steak, tender shrimp, and crisp stir-fry vegetables are tossed with noodles in a savory Asian-inspired sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or a quick gourmet meal at home.
Ingredients:
For the Stir-Fry:
8 oz noodles (egg noodles, rice noodles, or lo mein)
8 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (red, yellow, or green)
1 cup snap peas or green beans
1 carrot, julienned
2 green onions, sliced for garnish
For the Stir-Fry Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp water
Instructions:
Cook the noodles
Boil noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
Make the sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry.
Sear the steak
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook sliced steak for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook the shrimp
Add the remaining oil, toss in shrimp, and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Stir-fry vegetables
Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
Toss in bell pepper, snap peas, and carrot. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine everything
Add noodles, steak, and shrimp back to the skillet.
Pour in sauce and toss well. Cook for 2 minutes until heated through and glossy.
Serve & enjoy
Garnish with fresh green onions and serve hot.
