    This Strawberry Pretzel Dessert is the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and creamy layers, making it a crowd-pleaser for any occasion. The crunchy pretzel crust pairs beautifully with the rich cream cheese filling and refreshing strawberry gelatin. Fresh strawberries and strawberry compote add an extra fruity burst. It’s an easy-to-make summer dessert that’s ideal for picnics, BBQs, or family gatherings. Serve it chilled for a refreshing treat that will impress everyone!

    Ingredients:

    2 cups crushed pretzels (for that perfect salty crunch)

    3/4 cup melted butter

    3 tablespoons sugar

    8 ounces cream cheese, softened (for a creamy layer)

    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    8 ounces whipped topping (light and fluffy)

    1 package (6 ounces) strawberry gelatin

    2 cups boiling water

    2 cups sliced fresh strawberries (ripe and juicy)

    1 cup strawberry compote (for extra fruity goodness)

    Directions:

    1. Preheat Oven: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get the pretzel crust crispy and golden.

    2. Make Pretzel Crust: In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to create a firm base.

    3. Bake Crust: Bake the pretzel crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

    4. Cream Cheese Layer: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping for a light, creamy texture.

    5. Layering: Spread one-third of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust, sealing the edges to prevent the gelatin layer from seeping through.

    6. Add Strawberry Compote: Spread the strawberry compote over the cream cheese layer for a burst of fruity flavor.

    7. Top with Cream Cheese Mix: Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the strawberry compote for a smooth finish.

    8. Prepare Gelatin: Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, then stir in the fresh sliced strawberries. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before carefully pouring it over the cream cheese layer.

    9. Chill & Set: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until the gelatin is fully set.
