    Steak in Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce

    Ingredients:

    For the steak:

    2 sirloin or ribeye steaks

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1 tsp kosher salt

    1 tsp black pepper

    1 tsp garlic powder

    For the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce:

    8 large shrimp, peeled & deveined

    1 tbsp olive oil

    2 tbsp unsalted butter

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    1 tsp Cajun seasoning

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    1/4 cup chicken broth

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    Salt & black pepper, to taste

    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    Step 1: Prepare the steak

    1. Rub steaks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder for maximum flavor.

    2. Heat a skillet on medium-high and sear steaks for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Let rest.

    Step 2: Cook the shrimp

    1. In the same skillet, heat olive oil and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    Step 3: Make the Cajun shrimp sauce

    1. Lower heat, melt butter, and sauté garlic until fragrant (1 minute).

    2. Stir in Cajun seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

    3. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Return shrimp to the skillet to warm through.

    Step 4: Serve

    1. Plate the steak and spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce generously over it.

    2. Garnish with parsley for a fresh touch.
