    This Steak Diane with Mushroom Cream Sauce is a timeless, restaurant-quality dish that’s surprisingly easy to make at home. Juicy pan-seared beef steaks are smothered in a rich, savory mushroom sauce made with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and heavy cream.     Beef steaks 2 steaks (6–8 oz each, sirloin or filet mignon work best)
    Mushrooms 1 cup sliced (cremini or button mushrooms)
    Shallots 2, finely chopped
    Garlic 2 cloves, minced
    Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons
    Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon
    Heavy cream ½ cup
    Butter 2 tablespoons
    Olive oil 1 tablespoon
    Salt & black pepper to taste
    Fresh parsley finely chopped, for garnish

    Instructions:

    Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Let them rest at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.

    Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and garlic, sautéing for about 2 minutes until fragrant.

    Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and tender.

    Stir in Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

    Push the sauce to the side of the skillet and sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust to preferred doneness).

    Remove steaks briefly to rest, then return them to the skillet, spooning the creamy mushroom sauce over the top.

    Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
