Spicy Rotel Cheese Dip with Doritos

Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground sausage (spicy or mild)
1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)
Optional: 1 teaspoon taco seasoning or your favorite spice blend
Doritos (any flavor) for dipping
Instructions:
1. Brown the Meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and sausage together. Stir frequently and break apart the meat until fully browned, about 7–8 minutes. Drain off any excess grease.
2. Add Seasonings:
Sprinkle in chili powder and optional taco seasoning. Stir well to evenly coat the meat and cook for an additional minute to release the flavor.
3. Melt the Cheese:
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and the full can of Rotel tomatoes (including juice). Stir continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5–7 minutes.
4. Serve and Enjoy:
Transfer the hot cheese dip to a serving bowl or slow cooker set to “warm” to keep it gooey and melty. Serve immediately with a generous helping of Doritos chips.
