    Spicy Grilled Chicken with Sautéed Asparagus & Bell Peppers

    A high-protein, low-carb chicken dinner loaded with vibrant veggies and bold flavors!

    Looking for a quick and healthy chicken breast recipe that’s bursting with spice and color? This Spicy Grilled Chicken with Sautéed Asparagus and Bell Peppers is the perfect 30-minute weeknight meal. It’s low in carbs, high in protein, and packed with nutrients from fresh veggies like asparagus, bell peppers, and onions.

     

    Ingredients:

    For the Spicy Grilled Chicken:

    1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1 tsp smoked paprika

    ½ tsp garlic powder

    ½ tsp chili powder

    Salt and black pepper to taste

    For the Sautéed Vegetables:

    1 cup fresh asparagus spears, trimmed

    ½ red bell pepper, sliced

    ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced

    ½ green bell pepper, sliced

    ½ onion, thinly sliced

    1 tbsp olive oil

    Salt and pepper to taste

     

    Instructions:

    Grill the Spicy Chicken

    Coat chicken breast with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
    Grill or sear in a hot pan for 6–7 minutes per side until nicely browned and fully cooked (internal temp: 165°F/74°C). Let rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.

    Sauté the Colorful Veggies

    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat.
    Add sliced onion and all bell peppers. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
    Add trimmed asparagus and cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

    Serve & Enjoy

    Plate the juicy sliced chicken alongside the sautéed vegetable medley. Drizzle with pan juices or a squeeze of lemon juice for a fresh finish.
