Spaghetti Meat Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
– 2 lbs ground chuck
– 1 can diced tomatoes
– 1 can crushed tomatoes
– 2 cans tomato sauce
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
– 1 large onion or 2 medium onions, diced
– 1 green pepper, diced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 2 tablespoons minced parsley
– 1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon sea salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. In an extra-large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté diced onions and green peppers for 5 to 7 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook until browned.
2. Add ground chuck to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess grease from the meat.
3. Stir in all the seasoning and spices, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the browned ground chuck.
4. Add diced and crushed tomatoes, stirring well. Then pour in the tomato sauce, stirring to combine.
5. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld together.
6. Meanwhile, boil spaghetti pasta in a large pot for 7 to 8 minutes until al dente. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the boiling water to prevent sticking. Drain the cooked pasta.
7. Serve the spaghetti topped with the meat sauce. Enjoy your flavorful spaghetti meat sauce!
