This easy homemade cobbler comes together in minutes and delivers that nostalgic, melt-in-your-mouth comfort. Ingredients:

For the Batter:
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
½ cup (120 ml) milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the Cinnamon Swirl & Topping:
½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
1½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
¼ cup (57 g) unsalted butter, melted
Optional for Serving:
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, ¾ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until just combined don’t overmix!
Pour and spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix ½ cup sugar with cinnamon. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the batter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture across the top. Do not stir! This helps form that signature crackly snickerdoodle crust as it bakes.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. The cobbler will thicken slightly as it rests.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for the ultimate cinnamon-sugar comfort dessert!
