1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce or marinara
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes (optional, extra saucy)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
8 oz spaghetti noodles, broken in half
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions:
Brown the meat: Cook ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
