    Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak with Creamy Mushroom Gravy !

     

    This Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy is the ultimate comfort food, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners. Made with tender, flavorful beef patties smothered in a rich, creamy mushroom gravy, it’s a meal that’s both hearty and satisfying. The slow cooker does all the work, letting the flavors meld together for a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Serve it over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles for a complete, crowd-pleasing dish. With simple ingredients and easy steps, this recipe is a must-try for lovers of home-cooked goodness!

    Ingredients:

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef

    1/2 cup breadcrumbs

    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1 egg

    1 small onion, finely chopped

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    2 cups beef broth

    1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

    1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

    2 tablespoons cornstarch

    2 tablespoons water

    Directions:

    1. Prepare the Patties:

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

    Shape the mixture into 6 oval-shaped patties.

    2. Brown for Flavor:

    Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown each patty for 2-3 minutes per side to lock in the juices.

    3. Set Up the Slow Cooker:

    Place the browned patties at the bottom of your slow cooker.

    4. Create the Gravy:

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together beef broth and cream of mushroom soup until smooth. Add sliced mushrooms. Pour this mixture over the patties.

    5. Cook Until Tender:

    Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the patties are fully cooked and tender.

    6. Thicken the Gravy:

    About 15 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir this slurry into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.

    7. Serve & Enjoy:

    Dish up the Salisbury steaks with the creamy mushroom gravy poured generously over the top. Pair with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or buttered noodles for a complete meal.
