    Slow Cooker Ground Beef and Cheese Pasta Recipe

     

    Slow Cooker Ground Beef and Cheese Pasta Recipe

     

    This Slow Cooker Ground Beef and Cheese Pasta is a creamy, cheesy, and comforting one-pot meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights. It combines tender pasta, savory ground beef, and rich marinara sauce, all topped with melted mozzarella and Parmesan. Made effortlessly in the slow cooker, it’s a family favorite that’s easy to prepare and full of Italian-inspired flavors. Customize it with your choice of pasta or add heavy cream for extra indulgence. Serve it warm with garlic bread or a fresh salad for the ultimate comforting dinner!

    Ingredients:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 tablespoon oil

    1/2 cup diced onions

    4 cloves garlic, minced

    2 cups uncooked pasta (choose your favorite!)

    1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce (about 3 cups)

    1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

    1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning

    1/2 teaspoon pepper

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    3 cups water

    1/2 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

     

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the Ground Beef
    Heat a medium pan over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Drain any excess fat and transfer the beef to your slow cooker.

    2. Sauté Onions and Garlic
    Wipe the pan with a paper towel, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and sauté the diced onions for 2-3 minutes, until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 20 seconds. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.

    3. Combine Ingredients
    Add marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and water to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine. Cook on low heat for 4 hours.

    4. Add Pasta and Cheese
    After 4 hours, stir in the uncooked pasta, heavy cream (if using), half the mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Mix gently.

    5. Top with Cheese and Cook
    Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook for another hour, or until the pasta is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    6. Serve and Enjoy
    Dish up this cheesy ground beef pasta while warm and serve it with garlic bread or a fresh side salad. Enjoy every bite!
