    2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced or whole for shredding)

    1 red bell pepper, sliced

    1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

    1 green bell pepper, sliced (optional for extra color)

    1 medium onion, thinly sliced

    2 tbsp olive oil

    2 tsp chili powder

    1 tsp smoked paprika

    1 tsp ground cumin

    1/2 tsp garlic powder

    1/2 tsp onion powder

    1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for spice)

    Salt and black pepper to taste

    Juice of 1 fresh lime

    1/4 cup chicken broth or water

    Optional Toppings:

    Warm flour tortillas or low-carb wraps

    Sour cream

    Fresh cilantro

    Lime wedges

    Shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend

    Avocado slices or guacamole

    How to Make Crockpot Chicken Fajitas:

    Step 1: Prep Your Base

    Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the bottom of your slow cooker.

    Step 2: Season the Chicken

    In a small bowl, combine chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Rub the spice mix all over the chicken.

    Step 3: Assemble and Add Liquids

    Place seasoned chicken over the vegetables. Drizzle with olive oil and lime juice, then pour in the chicken broth to keep it juicy during cooking.

    Step 4: Let It Cook

    Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 2.5–3 hours. If using whole chicken breasts, shred with two forks once cooked.
